It is the disposition of nearly all men with power to become authoritarian, over-bearing, dictatorial, despotic, autocratic, high-minded, tyrannical, oppressive, vain, conceited, egotistical, prideful, haughty, disdainful, lordly, narcissistic, arrogant and over-confident. Men with power fear to lose it. If you are not the ruler, you are the ruled. If you are not the slaver, you are the slave. Men with power fear becoming powerless. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely, The further government is removed from the people the more corrupt it becomes, Government is power in the hands of people. People with power do not have the same values they had when powerless. Governments work to keep power over its citizens. Governments fear their citizens. Government is force–deadly force. Governments are formed by people to serve the people, but ALWAYS become despotic. The history of government is the history of enslavement. The history of government is the history of war. Citizens who are a threat to government’s power are imprisoned or killed. A person who trusts government is either ignorant or the ultimate fool.
