My last tabulation (several years ago) there were 40,000 LOBBYIST in D.C. with only 535 Legislators. That's a ratio of about 75 to 1. And, the "gifts" that lobbyist give are hard to say NO to, especially, those given under "cover(s)", know what I mean? We Thee People are getting screwed (and, we don't even get a kiss on the forehead.)
40,000 - that's more than fleas on a dog, flies on a garbage truck, etc. Well, you know what I mean. Yes, we have the best congress money can buy.
