General Ham and Admiral Gaouette have both lost their commands, apparently because they DID NOT WANT TO STAND DOWN.

******Gen Ham was fired 30 seconds after deciding to intervene in Benghazi: *****
I heard a story today from someone inside the military that I trust entirely. The story was in reference to General Ham that Panetta referenced in the quote below.
quote:
“(The) basic principle is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on; without having some real-time information about what’s taking place,” Panetta told Pentagon reporters. “And as a result of not having that kind of information, the commander who was on the ground in that area, Gen. Ham, Gen. Dempsey and I felt very strongly that we could not put forces at risk in that situation.”
The information I heard today was that General Ham as head of Africom received the same e-mails the White House received requesting help/support as the attack was taking place.
General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready.
General Ham then received the order to…… “stand down”. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow.
Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now……. “relieved of his command”.
The story continues that now General Rodiguez would take General Ham’s place as the head of Africon.
I found this story when I got home after hearing this story.

quote:
President Barack Obama will nominate Army Gen. David Rodriguez to succeed Gen. Carter Ham as commander of U.S. Africa Command and Marine Lt. Gen. John Paxton to succeed Gen. Joseph Dunford as assistant commandant of the Marine Corps, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta announced.

As I was typing this I heard John Bolton on Greta say that there are conflicting reports of General Ham’s comments on this tragedy and why a rapid response unit was not deployed. Bolton says someone needs to find out what Ham was saying on 9/11/12
There have been several comments on FOX that this was a “Covert” CIA Operation in Libya moving weapons to our Enemies in Middle East!

From a blog much earlier than this debacle, showing that General Ham was knowledgable about the means for delivering a mobile defense/extraction of trapped and besieged men:
“Ham also disclosed that the U.S. is providing some strike aircraft to the NATO operation that do not need to go through the special approval process recently established. The powerful side-firing AC-130 gunship is available to NATO commanders, he said.
“His answer countered earlier claims by the Pentagon that all strike aircraft must be requested through U.S. European Command and approved by top U.S. leaders, including Defence Secretary Robert Gates.
“Ham said that process still applies to other fighters and the A-10 Thunderbolt, which can provide close air support for ground forces, He said that process is quick, and other defence officials have said it can take about a day for the U.S. to approve the request and move the aircraft in from bases in Europe.”
I bring your attention back to this:
“U.S. is providing some strike aircraft to the NATO operation that do not need to go through the special approval process recently established.”

This means that General Ham a priori acknowledged that there were certain circumstances in which he would act unilaterally, or at least not with the burden of a day’s wait through the COC.
Undoubtably, Obama was burned by Panetta taking his UBL intitiative away from him; unboutably, Obama wanted to pay them back for making him look like a golf-jacketed pansy: Obama is full owner of this effing mess.

Occasionally, I visit so called “conspiracy” sites. You know Mayan prophecy, ufos, etc. Bengazi is being covered extensively on those sites, where many young voters and Democrats participate. So the word is getting out there, just not in the traditional way.

Yes Obeline, another one. This is what we call a purge. Remember Archibald Cox and the Saturday Night Massacre? Oh wait, today is Saturday.
This is also evidence of informal political commissars embedded within the command structure. It is also a sign that there are some senior officersa, some of the Black (Gen. Ham) who remember a thing or two abouot duty and loyalty to country, and subordinates, and thus Constitution. Another ray of hope. Have we found our American Pinochet?

So Obama really can remove 4 Star Commanders when Drake has said it's almost time to make the arrests!
Maybe it's time now or else Obama will remove all those that will take action against the Cabal!
